How often do I have to visit the dentist?

We recommend patients visit our office for preventive dental checkups two times each year. Our general dentist, Dr. Marc Mingel, will examine teeth and gums screening for common oral health issues. By visiting regularly, we’re able to diagnose and treat conditions in their earliest stages.

What is a periodontist?

A periodontist is a dentist who has completed an advanced program studying the supportive structures around the teeth. This can include gum disease treatments, dental implant placements, tooth extractions, and more. Our in-office periodontist, Dr. Steven Berkowitz, provides skilled care.

What is an endodontist?

An endodontist is a dentist who has completed an advanced program of study in the internal structures of teeth. Many patients are familiar with the dreaded root canal, but this procedure actually significantly relieves pain, especially when performed by an endodontist. Dr. Baokhoi Bui offers advanced endodontic care for our patients.

Can dentists perform general anesthesia?

In most cases, the answer is no. However, at our office, Dr. Eitan Gross provides general anesthesia. He has advanced training and is a certified dental anesthesiologist. We’re able to safely and effectively perform all levels of sedation in our office.
